Jerry Flack & Associates celebrated the expansion of their office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by staff, friends, and members of the Wells County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. The event marked a significant milestone for the business, showcasing its growth, updated space, and expanded services, all of which underscores the company’s dedication to providing comprehensive insurance and investment solutions to the local community.
The office, located at 101 North Main Street in Bluffton, underwent a fresh update, including new signage. Owner Jerry Flack reflected on the journey, stating that the expansion was driven by the goal of becoming a “one-stop shop” for customers. “The reason we did this is because we're adding people due to the increased need for services,” Flack shared. “Being a one-stop-shop, our goal is to walk beside people needing Medicare, long-term care, short term medical, life insurance, Medicaid services, diabetic shoes and supplies, and investments.”
In line with their commitment to supporting Medicare recipients, the office offers specialized assistance, including free diabetic shoes, with over 300-400 pairs distributed annually. As the office grows to meet the needs of the community, the expanding team was also introduced during the ceremony. Long-time staff member Donna Geisman, who has been with the business for nearly 30 years, was recognized, along with Julie Myers, who has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s offerings, including marketplace products and diabetic shoes. Julie’s son, Dan Wible, was acknowledged for stepping in as a licensed agent, managing the diabetic shoe program, and supporting Medicare and Medicaid product sales.
Reflecting on the business's long-standing presence, Flack noted that he has been in the building for 52 years. The team prides itself on providing personal, responsive customer service, driven by a simple but effective motto: “Take care of the customer.” Jerry Flack & Associates offers a wide range of insurance products, including life insurance, investments, long-term care, dental, vision, hearing, and cancer insurance. Their office serves clients in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, and California, with an emphasis on staying connected through technology, webinars, and remote services.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony also marked the return of in-person seminars, which had been paused during the COVID-19 pandemic. Flack expressed excitement about resuming educational events, aiming to host small groups of 12 to 20 attendees to foster participation and community engagement.
“We’re blessed to be expanding, adding new faces to the team, and continuing to serve our community,” Flack said. "Our mission remains clear: take care of our customers, provide them with the best possible service, and help them navigate their insurance and investment needs."
