Bluffton Board Games Moves Location

Bluffton Board Games Moves Location

The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors welcomed Bluffton Board Games to their new location at 2035 Commerce Drive in Bluffton with a Ribbon Cutting on June 12, 2020. Owners, Ryan Glessner and Bernard Welch opened the business a year ago before moving to this current location.

“We have had an amazing reception at this location so far. The signage has been very helpful by the road and the location is more visible. We are leaps and bounds from where we were,” said Glessner.

Welch has been interested in playing board games since the age of 10 and as an adult had a shop in Bluffton called Studio 1. “I was tired of going to Fort Wayne to purchase board games and decided to bring the option to Bluffton. I like to spend more time playing the game rather than driving to find the game to play.”

Board games come in all different genres, difficulties and age ranges. “People are welcome to come in, rent a table and play a game. We are very accommodating here and will help you learn the game and pick something out that fits your interests, “said Glessner. “There is a game out there for everyone and new games are coming out all the time.”

Bluffton Board Games will also hold tournaments. “We want to offer entertainment and fun for families. This can be a family affair and a way to get away from the electronics, but create a sense of togetherness,” stated Welch. “There is no other place in town that offers something like this.”

Bluffton Board Games also offers card games, puzzles and dice games. Games range from 1 person to 20 people with games taking as little as 30 minutes on up. Glessner said that the most popular miniature game in the world is Warhammer 4000. “We have miniatures for people to try out before investing in this popular game.”

Board game selections range from: Catan, Star Wars, Ticket to Ride, Fallout, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Extraordinary Adventures series, and more. “We have everything from Sci-Fi, WW II to Sherlock Holmes,” said Glessner.

Bluffton Board Games hours are 10am to 8pm Wednesday and Thursday, 10am to 10pm Friday and Saturday and 10am to 8pm on Sunday.
