Chamber Recognizes Velocity Motors as October Member of the Month

October 11, 2017Chamber News, Member of the MonthHattie Wondercheck

The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors recognized Steve Feasel with Velocity Motors as the October Member of the Month on October 5. Velocity Motors is located at 1750 N Main St, Bluffton.

Velocity Motors is a family-owned business in Wells County with his son, Kramer, helping with the day-to-day operations as well. Feasel purchased the dealership in 2009.
Feasel states, “when you become the owner of a business you experience the ups and downs along the way. To survive this long, I must be doing something right.”

“Taking care of our customers and building those relationships is what it is about and that has never changed. I have been fortunate to do that over the years,” Feasel says.

Purchasing vehicles has become more analytical due to the technology. “We can look at inventory all over the nation to meet the needs of the customer to find exactly what they want,” explains Feasel.

Feasel explains that as a local business, it is important to give back, support, and be involved in local organizations. “Without our support, organizations could not survive without local people supporting, growing and developing programs. Money is important; however, time and effort is just as important.”

Feasel is currently a Board Member with the Wells Community Boys & Girls Club and feels it is a worthwhile organization. “I also appreciate the local advertisement and support from our local newspaper, WBZD radio station, and then supporting so many other entities in the community such as the 4H Auction, the Chamber, and of course the Boys and Girls Club.”
