Cricket Wireless Welcomed with a Ribbon Cutting
The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors welcomed Cricket Wireless, located at 1980 N Main St in Bluffton, with a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening on September 8.
The Cricket Wireless company started about 16 years ago in the Texas area and has slowly opened stores to the Midwest. Jason Kelly, new Store Manager, explained that the company is continuing to grow as they have had 15 stores open in the region within 6 months.
“The popularity of the company is because customers can save money without sacrificing their coverage,” Kelly states. “We can deliver the same type of service without locking people into a two-year contract.”
Erika Clark, Michelle Speidel, and Kaleb Douglass are part of the Cricket Wireless team in Bluffton. They are enthusiastic about helping customers wtih their needs.
Douglass explains, “we are not only here to help customers, but to teach people how to use their phone.
We are not going to try and push just any phone on a customer, but find the phone that is perfect for them.”
Jason Kelly, Store Manager, started with Cricket Wireless in Portland in March and advanced to management after five months and transferred to the Bluffton location. “I really want to serve this community the best I can. I want to be in touch with local business and help with their needs. We are excited to be a part of the Street Fair and offer activations in the Industrial Tent. We are really excited to be here,” Kelly concludes.
