Family LifeCare Recognizes Dale, Huffman & Babcock Attorneys

Extends invitation to Community Members

(Berne, Indiana) – Family LifeCare, a non-profit organization, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year—twenty years of providing hospice, grief support, palliative care and more recently home health, infusion therapy and children’s services with hope, comfort and dignity.

The community is encouraged to celebrate with FLC in recognizing Platinum Sponsor Dale, Huffman & Babcock Attorneys of Bluffton for their generous support.  Pictured from left to right are: Timothy K. Babcock, Partner, Estate Law Attorney; SueAnn Reynolds , Family LifeCare President & CEO; and Keith P. Huffman, Partner, Elder Law Attorney & FLC Board Vice-Chairman.

This year’s benefit–Puttin’ on the Ritz, a roaring 20s celebration will be held Saturday, September 23 at 5:30 p.m. at Lighted Gardens in Ossian. Come dressed as a flapper, gangster or other 1920s style (if desired) for a roaring good evening for only $75 per person (which includes 3 raffle tickets).

In addition, FLC will honor Marvin Baird, former Executive Director of Adams Memorial Hospital; Vic Porter, Founder of Thunderbird Formula Boats, Decatur; and Dr. Bernie Wiebe, FLC Chief Medical Officer for their contributions over two decades since FLC was established in 1997. Anyone who knows these public servant leaders, anyone touched by hospice or home health care over our 20-year history, or anyone interested in learning more about FLC is encouraged to attend.

Have your picture taken with a 1920s Roadster, enjoy select hors d’oeuvres, an elegant dinner, dessert & drinks and participate in the live and silent auctions, chocolate/wine raffle, item raffles, card raffles (Colts tickets & black diamond earrings) and play Plinko to win more raffle & drink tickets.

Proceeds benefit the FLC Legacy Fund that enables us to extend services to community members who are underinsured or have no insurance benefits.  With ongoing cuts to Medicare reimbursement and other financial changes brought about by governmental regulations, this endowment fund is critical in meeting the needs of our patients and their families.  Your help allows us to continue our mission of bringing hope, comfort and dignity to all who need our services.

Visit our annual fundraiser page at https://familylifecarein.org/2017-annual-fundraiser/ to register, purchase tickets, view auction items and plan your wish list; a great time for Christmas shopping!

For more details or to RSVP by the September 19 deadline, contact Karen Sweney at Family LifeCare at 1-800-355-2817. RSVPs are required in advance.  Family LifeCare provides services in Adams, Allen, Blackford, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Randolph, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley counties.  Visit us at www.familylifecarein.org and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/FamilyLifeCare.
