Kemper Flooring Grows To New Location

November 2, 2016Chamber Newsbwrasman

The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors congratulated and welcomed Jeff and Amy Kemper with Kemper Flooring to their new location at 1525 Hillcrest Drive in Ossian on Monday, November 14. Kemper Flooring moved from the north side of Ossian to the old Dollar General location in September.

“In nine weeks we remodeled the building. Everything changed in the building except the doors and windows,” stated Kemper. “We did most of the remodel ourselves with help from a few friends and family.”

Kemper explained that growth in the business allowed them to seek additional space. “We were operating in very tight quarters at 4,000 square feet and this new location offers 8,000 square feet. We now have storage capability and a great show room for customers to see our products.”

Kemper speaks very highly of the employees working for him. “I have outstanding employees working for me such as Nancy Smith, Craig Smith, Daryl Weaver, Jeremy Smith, Isreal Garza, Enrique Gabrielle, Mike Odle, and Jessica Privett.”

Jessica Privett, Office Manager, has been working for Kemper for 10 years. “This is the third store I have worked at with Jeff and each time it just keeps improving,” said Privett.

Staying in Ossian was important to Kemper. “I live here and I really like it here. Ossian is a central location for my customers. Being a part of the community is very important to me.”
