About the Program?
This unique leadership academy for Wells County, started in 2008, was a collaboration with Huntington University Foundation’s Center for Leadership Studies. Classes are based on materials developed for community leadership programs, written by Dr. Tim Elmore who is the Founder and President of Growing Leaders. He has taught leadership through the power of images and stories that enable people to influence others in a positive way. Over 25 facilitators from Wells County have been trained by Dr. Elmore to lead participants through a series of discussions and leadership topics.
Who Should Participate?
Anyone who wants to improve their leadership skills, develop stronger communication skills, and focus on creating a network of peer-mentor-business relationships. Our desire is that these individuals would then make a life-long commitment to community service and help mentor new leaders.
