The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Chamber Ambassadors welcomed a new salon, Lexis Rae Hair Studio located at 122 Lamar St in Bluffton, with a Ribbon Cutting for owner Lexis Arnold.

Lexi Rae Hair Studio officially opened for business on August 6. Arnold explained that they did some renovations to the space such as internal painting, built a wall for mixing color, an area to be used as a workspace, and added two manicure stations. “My goal is for our clients to feel relaxed, comfortable and leave feeling refreshed.”

Arnold has been in the hair business for 4.5 years and has loved doing hair since she was very young. “I was blessed with an awesome job right out of beauty school and had always dreamed of opening up my own salon.” Although the timing was sooner than she had anticipated, Arnold said, “God opened this door for us, and the timing just fell into place. It’s been a whirlwind to the point, but it has been fun and exciting to see what happens next.”

Arnold’s goal is to keep the salon small with having only one additional hair stylist, Makaylah Prible. “Makaylah and I are good friends and I am excited to start this venture doing what we love with a good friend by my side.”

Lexis Rae Hair Studio offers many services such as cuts and styles for men, women, and children; face waxing; dip and gel manicures; conditioning treatments; and special occasion requests. “We really enjoy the special occasions and will travel for weddings and events,” Arnold said.

Arnold concluded saying, “we are accepting new clients and are open Tuesday through Saturday with most days opening at 9am and going through the evening.”
