March Recognition for Coldwell Banker-Holloway
The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors surprised Jody and Jodi Holloway with Coldwell Banker Real Estate, located at 1103 S Main St in Bluffton, as the March Member of the Month on March 7, 2019. Balloons, signs, and goodies were brought in by the Chamber entourage to surprise Holloways and their agents.
Jody Holloway opened the doors at Coldwell Banker in September 2009. Holloway received his auction license in 1976 as a Junior in High School. The first year out of High School in 1977, Holloway received his Real Estate License and worked his way through college.
The independent office of Coldwell Banker-Holloway has been the #1 office in market share in the area since 2010, according to UPSTAR MLS stats. Holloway gives a lot of credit to the brand name of Coldwell Banker and his talented agents.
“We treat everybody with the respect they deserve,” explained Holloway. “Whether we are working with a high-end or low-end buyer or seller, we treat people the same. We are just as happy to work for either client and deliver the same type of service for everyone.”
Holloway continued to explain that the training program Coldwell Banker has in place for the agents is first class. “As an independent office we are able to tap into their resources and branding to help us be successful and this allows us to attract good talent.”
Holloway stated, “the success of Coldwell Banker-Holloway is because of the good agents we have and their good reputations in the community. It all comes back to you eventually; you reap what you sow.”
“Coldwell Banker is a brand recognized nationally and is a name recognizable to people moving into the area and is familiar,” said Holloway. “People tend to stop and shop at places they recognize and a lot of us seek out what we know.” Holloway added that being the only Coldwell Banker franchise in town has been a huge benefit.
“There are a lot of options in our community to select a Real Estate Agency and the competition is noble and worthy,” said Holloway. “We try really hard not to look at the other agencies as competitors, but friends in the same profession. Many of us bounce ideas off one another and can work together very well.”
Holloway feels it is important to give back to the community where you make your living. “We have supported many benefit auctions, community events, and just try to do the right thing to support local organizations,” said Holloway.
Being recognized as the Member of the Month is humbling for Holloway. “I am just grateful and very honored, and I think for the first time, I am speechless,” laughed Holloway.
