New Beginnings for FPC Technology Group
The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting with 2ds.Consulting and FPC Technology Group at 616 N Main St, Bluffton, March 16 to celebrate a new beginning for both businesses.
FPC Technology Group joined forces with 2ds.Consulting, based out of Fort Wayne, on January 1, 2018 with 2ds.Consulting acquiring FPC in Wells County. Scott and Kathy Steffen have been instrumental in helping with the transition and focusing on the business model moving forward.
“The fresh team will bring a new level of energy into the company and bring the additional offerings to FPC customers,” explains Scott Steffen. “It’s exciting what is on the horizon for Wells County and the surrounding area as we re-brand FPC Technology Group and offer a full managed service to clients.”
2ds.Consulting owners, John Dunlap and Kaleb Dienelt, are making numerous changes to the current location, reducing the footprint from 4,800 square feet to just over 1,000. “It worked out perfectly because Perfect Pet needed to expand their space for training and retail; we were happy to give up that extra space to them,” says Dienelt.
Dienelt explains that a lot of small businesses cannot afford to hire Information Technology (IT) staff; therefore, their company is the solution. A Managed Service Provider offers customers to rent an IT Department for small to medium sized companies and for personal use. “We offer a vast array of services such as managing, fixing, and repairing the hardware and operating software, and we can be a liaison to other technical companies for the business.”
“We are also rolling out a Home Computer Package for home use to manage individuals’ personal computer needs such as anti-virus, computer maintenance, and security,” says Dienelt.
“We have been welcomed and have met so many people in Wells County and the Chamber has been extremely helpful for our business. I can tell this a community that cares about increasing the quality of life in Wells County and we are happy to be a part of that,” says Dienelt.
Dienelt concludes that their staff are fun people with fresh ideas and open to suggestions of customer needs. “We are truly excited to help businesses with their needs and grow.” Business hours are 8am-5pm M-F with 7am-7pm on-call remote support and Saturday support hours from 8am-3pm and by appointment.
