New Chiropractic Office Opens at Dutch Mill Plaza
The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors welcomed Clear Choice Chiropractic to the Dutch Mill Plaza with a Ribbon Cutting celebration. The office is located at 360 North Main Street, Suite A.
Clear Choice Chiropractic was established in 2008 when Dr. Oakland Gaerke bought the practice from Dr. Jim Clear in Portland, Indiana. “My goal was to have several franchise-like locations and expand services in various areas,” explained
Gaerke. “Bluffton is our sixth office. Personally, Bluffton has always been a favorite of mine and we are really excited to open an office here.”
Dr. Gaerke grew up in Adams County, east of Geneva, and said he has always loved the Bluffton community because it is a great, wholesome community with great values. “When we were doing our market research, Bluffton was rated the number one city to start a business in the state of Indiana. The timing had not been right to open another office because Bluffton already had several other Chiropractors, and we didn’t want to add another. However, with Dr. Bell leaving, the opportunity arose, with this being one of the busiest locations, we were excited to jump in.”
As new offices were acquired, Dr. Gaerke added Dr. Michael Jobe and Dr. Stanton Couch as partners and owners of Clear Choice Chiropractic. “Our goal is to work collaboratively to help and mentor young people out of school so we can help them grow to meet their potential as they become Chiropractors running their own offices,” stated Gaerke.
Dr. Aubry Wright and Dr. Emmett Meiss both graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis Missouri, interned at Clear Choice Chiropractic, and will be the Chiropractors at the Bluffton location. “I am excited to have multiple mentors around me in this company and be a part of the growth,” said Wright.
Dr. Gaerke said they pride themselves on the mentorship and training program they have created over the years. “School will teach these graduates the science; however, they are not taught how to run a business or customer service practices. We have it figured out and it is important to get them to work in the field the right way to learn how to take care of the patient first. We believe we run a great brand, always putting the patient first. Part of the training is to understand that it isn’t about the money if you put the patient first, your business will be successful. That is the model I try to teach.”
“We want to bring high-quality affordable care to the community,” stated Gaerke. “Our prices are not extremely high and are affordable for people. Our goal is to also add additional Massage Therapists and continue the overall growth in the office. Walk-ins are welcome and we don’t want people to wait long for their appointment. We are excited to be here and it is going to be an awesome experience for patients.”
During the transition period and training for Dr. Wright and Dr. Meiss, hours will be Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8am to 6pm.
