Ouabache SP offers Indiana Master Naturalist Class Deadline Extended
There is more time to get registered to learn about nature and then share your knowledge with others by becoming an Indiana Master Naturalist through Ouabache State Park this spring.
Ouabache State Park has partnered with Friends of Ouabache State Park, Wells County Purdue Extension and Limberlost State Historic Site to host an Indiana Master Naturalist class from March 14 through May 9 on Wednesdays from 9 a.m.- noon.
The Indiana Master Naturalist Program (IMNP) is an educational/volunteer program developed by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and Purdue University Extension to provide Hoosier’s who love experiencing and then sharing nature with others by learning through hands-on educational opportunities. Participants will learn about Indiana’s plants, water, soils and wildlife at local sites.
The fee for the class is $75.00. Registrations will be due by March 5. The standard park entrance fee will be waived for students during class times.
