Pitroad Collectibles Moves to Downtown Bluffton

The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff, Ambassadors and Special Events committee members welcomed Pitroad Collectibles, located at 214 Perry Street in downtown Bluffton, and owners David Betz and Brandon Betz with a Ribbon Cutting.

David Betz opened a NASCAR store in 2002 on Johnson Street in downtown Bluffton and was also in the current Sweet Obsessions building until 2007. “We were at a couple different locations in downtown and now we are back,” stated David. “Downtown looks a little different today!”

Between 2007 and 2018 David and his son, Brandon, set up booths at fairs, shows and festivals selling products and tin signs. “The name Pitroad Collectibles was created when we started selling NASCAR items. Over the years we switched to selling tin signs,” stated Brandon.

Pitroad Collectibles moved to the GBM Building in 2018, which is located behind Dairy Queen in Bluffton, and then had an opportunity to move back downtown to their current location on Perry Street.

They currently have an inventory of approximately 150 tins signs. “We work with a distributor and they are reproduction signs of superheroes, automobiles, advertisements, cartoon characters, TV shows, farmhouses, and more,” said David. “We are an old-fashioned brick and mortar store with storefront sales.”

David said they hope to be here for awhile and be a small part of the community. “I’ve been in business my whole life and it is cool to see where we started to where we are today.”

Pitroad Collectibles is open Monday through Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday’s 10am to 2pm.
