The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors filled the lobby of ProFed Credit Union located at 1331 Baker Place in Bluffton to be recognized as the February Member of the Month. Patty Randall, Branch Manager, along with her staff Shaye Higgins, Katie Oaks, and Josh Rhoton were surprised and honored with the recognition.
“ProFed’s involvement has been outstanding over the years and the Chamber Ambassadors felt it was time for them to be recognized for their community involvement, great customer service, and overall value they add to Wells County,” said Erin Prible, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.
Shaye Higgins, Member Service Specialist, explained, “before I started working for ProFed, I believed in the products and services whole-heartedly. I have been here for 9 years and that belief is solidified daily. The community involvement is exceptional and the services we offer are outstanding.”
ProFed Federal Credit Union has built a reputation of trusted financial services and has been part of the Wells County community since 1976. As a not-for-profit financial institution, ProFed returns their earnings to members in the form of dividends and lower rates. They are committed to providing individual care to those they serve, and support the community through involvement with the Bluffton Street Fair, Family Centered Services, United Way, Chamber of Commerce, Wonderland of Lights at Ouacbache State Park, Parlor City Christmas, and BRRR Fest to name just a few. “We feel it is important for a business to be involved in the community and for our employees to be involved. We live and work here and we need to put into practice our support and do what we can to help,” said Randall.
“This honor is super exciting for us. It is nice to be recognized for the contributions we make in Wells County”, stated Randall.
Randall explained that when members walk into ProFed Credit Union she and her staff want them to have an excellent experience and feel like they have their best interest in mind. “We will do the best we can for them to feel welcome, make a point to know them by name and establish a relationship. It is very important that they feel comfortable to come to us with questions or concerns they have so we can be of assistance.”
