Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Premier Flats
The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff, Ambassadors and community supporters officially welcomed Premier Flats with a Ribbon Cutting celebration on September 20, 2021. Premier Flats is located at 60 Premier Avenue on the north side of Bluffton.
Ground was broke a year ago to start construction for Premier Flats. Rob Troxel, Jeff Stringer, and other investors were hearing a lot in the community about housing needs. Troxel said, “we started talking and coming up with a plan to build an apartment complex on this parcel.”
Premier Flats has a total of 180 one- and two-bedroom apartments for rent. There are 10 buildings that include 18 units. The options ranges from 715 to 1,157 square feet of space. There are two furnished units for corporate housing with a minimum 3-month term. Optional garages are available with outdoor electric car charging stations.
The beautiful Clubhouse boasts a 24-hour fitness facility, 24-hour secure package retrieval area, lounge with Wi-Fi and coffee bar, an outdoor terrace overlooking the fountain in the pond with a fireplace, TV, and grills. “The pool is under construction and will be completed by spring,” stated Troxel.
The construction of all 10 buildings is still ongoing with the first building at full capacity and another 20 applicants well on their way to moving in. “We are extremely excited to offer a great product in Wells County and strongly encourage people to come in and tour the facility. We hope that people tell others about the living options we have here, and it is a beautiful space and environment to be a part of,” explained Troxel. “Amanda Kohman is the Property Manager and Courtney Brown is the Leasing Consultant who will walk interested applicants through the process of applying for an apartment.”
Troxel said that it was important to use local vendors and contractors for this large project. “I really want to thank them all for being a part of making Premier Flats a reality for us: IMI-Concrete, Craigville Appliance, Colliers HVAC, Brickley/Habig Excavation, JR Products/Cameron Ashley Building Products, Mast Landscaping, ALH Building Systems, Air Stoppers Insulation, Tonner Dumpster Services, and Midstates Energy Solutions.”
“I also want to give a special thank you to Jeff Stringer for managing this project and getting it off the ground and running. Jeff has been a key driver getting to where we are today,” said Troxel.
Premier Flats is open for tours by calling 260-307-5505, or stopping in, and the website, www.premierflat.com, gives more in-depth description of floor plans and amenities.
