Wells County Welcomes Bobcat of Fort Wayne – South
The Wells County Chamber of Commerce staff and Ambassadors welcomed Bobcat of Fort Wayne – South with a Ribbon Cutting on June 12, 2020. They are located at 633 North Main Street in Bluffton and are owned by Buddy and Audra Funk of Fort Wayne.
Buddy and Audra Funk have been at Bobcat of Fort Wayne for 21 years. The Funks decided to purchase the Fort Wayne location in 2013 and then opened Bobcat of Fort Wayne – East in Grabill in 2015. 2019 brought Bobcat of Fort Wayne – North in Angola, IN, and finally Bobcat of Fort Wayne – South is open in Bluffton, IN as of June 2020.
“Bluffton has been a high priority for us for many years,” explained Buddy. “We have over 400 customers between Wells and Adams Counties, as well as municipal entities. The nearest location for service, parts, and rental equipment was 45 minutes to our Fort Wayne location. The time was right for us to expand and to make this location happen.”
Buddy said that customers have been asking him to open a location in the area for many years. The main reason for expanding is to serve their existing customers and acquire new. “It’s already been very exciting being here in Wells County and people are excited to see us here. They can easily pick up parts and rent equipment for large projects.”
The complete product line that Bobcat of Fort Wayne – South offers is extensive, offering skid loaders and track loaders (with a variety of sizes and capabilities), excavators, tractors, utility vehicles, numerous attachments and implements, and more. Bobcat of Fort Wayne has what you need for the ever-changing world today. For example, the Small Articulated Loader is one of the newest additions to the Bobcat product line. Low-rate Bobcat Financing is offered (WAC) to simplify the purchasing process of Bobcat equipment. View new and pre-owned inventory at bobcatoffortwayne.net.
To add to the product offering, Two Brothers Generator – an Elite Generac Dealer – is happily housed with Bobcat of Fort Wayne at all four locations. They are the largest residential whole house Generator Dealer in Indiana with Sales, Parts and Service available. “Rural America wants generators whether it’s for home or the farm, and we can accommodate their needs very quickly,” said Buddy.
“Our goal this year is for everyone to know of our new location in Bluffton, let our existing customers know we are closer, and promote to new customers in need of our products for sales, rentals, service, or parts. Bobcat of Fort Wayne is all about renting. Renting equipment is an essential option for our customers so they can get projects completed satisfactorily and on time,” explained Buddy.
Buddy said they are excited to be a part of the community and offer local support. “We know our services are needed here and we are all about serving the customer. We will enjoy meeting and working with every one of you. Whatever the project, please consider the Worlds #1 brand in compact equipment for your needs. Bobcat of Fort Wayne – South is now here to serve you.”
